A preparation unit like this is intended to: hold a roll of centre-folded plastic film, perforate the film (if required), separate the film, and provide a work-surface on which the product can be placed between the layers of film. It has rubber feet, to stand on a level surface. Position the roll in such a way that the user is pulling the material from the bottom (not the top) of the roll. In this way, the roll balances on the preparation unit. The preparation unit can be secured to the work-surface with screws or bolts. This preparation unit can actually hold a roll as wide as 470mm. It is intended for use with an adjustable L-sealer (it is designed to feed the plastic out at the same level as the adjustable L-sealer takes the plastic in, when both units are placed on the same surface).
