Custom-made Sealer A sealer can be custom-made to specifications. Before considering this option, see if your needs can be met using a continuous sealer, perhaps an adapted version of the CC6202 model. This would then allow you to make the sealer economically. The kit would typically include the heating, insulating, connecting and control components, and diagram and instructions/advice for connection. Typically, the body and arm/jaw would not be included in the kit, because these would be the non-standard parts required, and would be bought from a dealer in metal. We can assist by providing a quote for a custom-made sealer, however, for a sealer to be factory-made to user specifications is a far more costly process than for a sealer to be made to standard specifications.

Food Wrapper – FW380 A sealer like this is intended for sealing food wrapping film. Its cutting element and its sealing plate are coated with non-stick PTFE – from which soft plastic can be wiped easily. The stainless material used for the body of the machine, wipes easily, to allow proper hygiene.

Hand (operated) impulse sealer without sharp blade – Hand Sealer A sealer like this is intended for sealing plastic bags. Its element is covered with a heat-resistant fabric which is coated with non-stick PTFE – from which soft plastic can be wiped easily. If you wish to make bags from a roll of tubing, one of our sealers which have sharp cutting blades would be better. To use this sealer to make bags from tubing, use scissors, or use a box-cutter knife and a plank, to cut from the tubing. To use this sealer to make bags from a roll of centre-folded plastic, we can fit for you additional insulation, and a round element (small additional cost). This will make it easy to melt through the centre-folded plastic, forming an open bag (not good with tubing, because this would form a closed bag).

YC450HLC – Factory Hand Sealer A sealer like this is intended for making bags from a roll of tubing, in a production environment. For this reason it has a sharp blade to cut the tubing open again. Its element is covered with a heat-resistant fabric which is coated with non-stick PTFE – from which soft plastic can be wiped easily. It contains a power transformer which is capable of the repetitive demands of production usage. If required, this sealer can be fitted with an element 5mm wide (which we believe is unnecessary for sealing plastic). The blade is also useful for trimming bags which are too big. The sealer can of course be used to simply seal bags closed. Another use for this sealer, is to form tubes around a pack of items (e.g. six-pack), which can be done conveniently with this sealer, using a roll of flat plastic.

YC450HL – Factory Hand Sealer A sealer like this is intended for making plastic bags, from a roll of centre-folded film, in a production environment. It contains a power transformer which is capable of the repetitive demands of this type of usage. This sealer is fitted with a round element, which melts though both layers of film, welding them together in the process. One or more items can be inserted into the bag before it is formed, and the bag can be formed to closely fit the item(s) inside. After this, the bag can be sealed closed, and, if desired, multiple items bagged, can be separated into smaller bags using the sealer. In this way, wide plastic can be used for small items, with little waste of material. If you wish to make bags from a roll of tubing, one of our sealers which have sharp cutting blades would be recommended. This sealer is not optimally designed for tubing.
