Vacuum Sealer – DZ400A – for 2-6 bags This sealer holds 2 or more bags in the chamber, pumps (most of) the air out of the chamber (and thus also out of the bags), then seals the bags and lets the air back into the chamber. A vacuum sealer like this, is used most commonly for foodstuff. This type of sealer only requires standard vacuum bags, not expensive imported bags. If the bags to be sealed are small, then 4, or even 6 bags may be vacuumed and sealed in one operation, which spreads the cost of operating the sealer (10-15c per operation) over more of the bags of product. Even with large bags, this sealer’s capability of sealing at least 2, halves it’s cost-per-bag and time-per-bag (cycle time is approx 30 seconds).

Continuous Sealer Horizontal – CBS900LWS The conversion kit comes in the box, to convert from the horizontal to the vertical. A sealer like this is intended for sealing small bags at a quick rate (conveyor can run at 12m/minute). Temperature range is 0-399°C. This sealer is fitted with belts made of heat-resistant fabric and coated with PTFE (Teflon belts). The belts are seamless, so they can be effective and last well. These belts do not hold heat like the steel belts on some other similar sealers. This means that the cooling blocks are able to cool the sealed area of bag, allowing the seal to form. Steel belts would not allow for proper cooling of the seal. The maximum load on the conveyor must not exceed 10kg. The cost of purchase and maintenance should compute to about 2c per seal on a bag with a muffin in it.
